QubOps is committed to protecting the privacy and security of the information we collect and to being transparent about the ways in which we collect and process your information.

This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, share, process and store your personal information. Please read this privacy policy carefully, data that we collect from you will always be in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 ("The Act").

It applies to the websites and online services that we operate and that link to this Privacy Policy (the "Services").

Collection of Information

We collect the following categories of information when you use our Services (including when our mobile applications run on your device):

Information you provide directly to us:

  • An e-mail address to contact you.
  • Transaction and Billing Data, including your bank account and payment card details (credit card number, expiration date, and credit card security code, where needed to complete a transaction) and billing address.
  • Correspondence you send to us, such as emails.

Information we collect automatically:

We collect internet, or other electronic network activity information automatically from the devices and browsers that you use, including your IP address, browser type and operating system (including mobile device information, if applicable), errors, performance metrics, and webpage and app interactions.

Use of Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our Services, including, for example, to facilitate payments, send receipts, provide products and services you request (and send related information), develop new features, provide customer support to Users, develop safety features, authenticate users, and send product updates and administrative messages.

Where legally required and we have no other valid legal basis to process your information, we will obtain consent, which may subsequently be withdrawn at any time by contacting us. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before it is withdrawn.

Where we need to collect information by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to provide you with goods or services). In this case, we may cancel a product or service you have with us.

Disclosure of Information

We are committed to maintaining your trust, and we want you to understand when and with whom we may share the information we collect.

  • Authorized third-party vendors and service providers: We send the information you provide directly to us, the information we collect automatically, and the information we collect from other sources to services that process data for us for business purposes related to providing products or services you’ve requested (such as payment processing, analytics, error logging, customer interactions, and data processing and storage).

  • Business transfers: We may transfer any of the information we collect about you if QubOps is acquired by or merged with another company, in connection with a substantial corporate transaction (e.g. asset sale, initial public offering, or in the unlikely event of bankruptcy).

  • Legal purposes: We may disclose any of the information we collect to respond to subpoenas, court orders, legal process, law enforcement requests, legal claims or government inquiries, and to protect and defend the rights, interests, safety, and security of Hello Invent, our affiliates, users, or the public (including responding to illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, or violations of our Terms of Service).

  • Consent: We may share any of the information we collect for any other purposes disclosed to you at the time we collect the information or pursuant to your consent.

QubOps does not sell your information to third parties. QubOps does permit third parties to collect the information described above through our Service and discloses such information with third parties for business purposes as described in this Privacy Policy. The information practices of these third parties are not covered by this Privacy Policy.

Cookies

Where required by law, we will present you with a cookie banner the first time you visit our website that explains what type of cookies we use and which asks your consent for some of the cookies. You may be able to refuse or disable cookies by adjusting your web browser settings. Some browsers have options that allow the visitor to control whether the browser will accept cookies, reject cookies, or notify the visitor each time a cookie is sent. Data retention and storage of personal information

It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff may be engaged in, among other things, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our App; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

On receipt of your personal information we will ensure that our rigorous security and risk controls protect your personal data and will use all reasonable restrictions to prevent unauthorised access.

Your rights

You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal information collected via your consent at any time. This will not retrospectively affect the legality of collecting this data from your prior consent.

You have the right to request the erasure or deletion of your personal information provided:

  • It is no longer necessary for us to use this data to fulfil our responsibilities;
  • Was collected on the bases you provided prior consent that you have now withdrawn;
  • You believe the collected data is not necessary and this is legally found to be the case.

You have the right to restrict the processing of your data provided:

  • You believe the information we hold is inaccurate and during our investigation is proven to be accurate from our verification process;
  • Where data is to be erased you propose to apply a restriction instead;
  • here we have declared we will erase data you have requested to restrict the data for the duration of the purposes you need to facilitate legal or defense claims.

Under data protection regulations you have the right to control your marketing preferences. You will therefore be required to opt-in to marketing updates rather than opt-out. You can change your preferences at your own leisure.

Our website may, from time to time, contain links to and from the websites of our partner networks and affiliates. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that they will have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. Please check these policies before you submit any personal data via their website.

The Act gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we modify our Privacy Policy, we will post the revised version here, with an updated revision date. You agree to visit these pages periodically to be aware of and review any such revisions. If we make material changes to our Privacy Policy, we may also notify you by other means prior to the changes taking effect, such as by posting a notice on our websites or sending you a notification. By continuing to use our website after such revisions are in effect, you accept and agree to the revisions and to abide by them.
